Let me tell you whats going on..

This weekend we have a ski weekend in the upper peninsula

Next weekend we have a meet for two days with the Canadians, You knw the

Comunist...:rll::rll: We need to work out some Cancun Mex. details.

Then we need to spend 6 Days in Cancun Mex. in the end of March or the first of Apirl.

Then I need to return to China by mid May for 10 days to take care of some special needs. (10 days should do it)

Then me and Joe are heading to Branson MO. June 6th till the 15th.

And less we forget I have to work in there somewhere.
I know what your thinking!! this working for a living thing is getting in the way of my travels. :mad:

But I will keep you posted, And if I can make it you know I will. It would be nice to get the fastest car in Moddersville out and get the carbon out of it:rll:( like there would be any)

That would be great! I am still waiting on an initial response from the flag folks right now as I am trying to get a ball park estimate on prices.... This is all based upon interest. I wouldn't mind trying to get some done for the Branson event as well, if everyone likes the idea. Hopefully I hear something back from them on Monday.

almost 200 miles from me, sno is about 60 to 70.

Not sure if any of the chicago group is closer, on second thought Ndependant ( Paul ) is probably about the same distance as sno.

Pepe..... Don't call off the shirts on your end just yet! Wait till I get my pricing! I have a feeling with this small of a quantity it's not going to be that cheap from my guy. I'll know something in a couple days. Also is there any objections to making this a two or three color screen?

You deal with your guy quite a bit, and the devil head shirt you made for me has lasted a long time, so I know that who you use is good quality.


Also, just received an email back from the flag maker.
This is what it said.

"Ron,
The cost of the flags would be $11.00 ea. The flags are made up for
display on the right or the left side of the car. In other words the
printing is on one side only. Double sided printing comes out looking like
a mess. We will have to work with you on the art work. The file size you
sent me is too big.

Flag price seems fair to me ........ however like you stated before, hopefully their "lack
of communication" isn't a sign of their overall business philosophy :rolleyes:

I have read all 10 pages of this post and still don't know the details.



PRELIMINARY ITINERARY:

Thursday: Early Birds Arrival, Cruise to Lookout Mountain, visiting Rock City Tennessee

Friday: Cruise to Desoto State Park incl. Little River Canyon Alabama

Saturday: Cruise to Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN

Sunday: Departure after a good ole Kuntry Breakfast at Cracker Barrell

A few questions from me and others might want to know also.

Are you going to drive to these places each day and drive back to the
motel (i missed the name of the motel, how much it cost and what town it is in)
or are you going to stay in these different towns and go to the next place from
there?
If all this is round trips from "rag head motel" then what time do you think
each trip will leave out?
If round trips, are you going out to eat as a group at night and where
and about what time is that going to take place?
I might be able to come up Friday night, not sure what shift I will be on
so don't know for sure.
If I'm on second that week, then I want be able to come.
They move my shifts around so much that I never know what shift I be working
next week.
But if there is a way and I'm not dead or in jail, I'll try and make it Saturday or

Yes Eddie, those WILL be round trips and we plan on having group dinner,
time is really depending on our cruising speed, I didn't want to set a time
in case we get 'delayed' ;-) - as for "starting time" of the cruises we think about 10ish

I believe the flags measure 11" X 16" ( don't hold me to it), and as far as material goes this is what the site says. "Our flags are made with a special weave to allow the wind to flow through the flag enabling longer life and less flag noise at road speeds. "
