Many years ago in England , pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the rim, or handle, of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill, they used the whistle to get some service. 'Wet your whistle' is the phrase inspired by this practice.

Make sure besides packing your own alcohol that you also bring one of your WI coats to the Bible Belt as it's freezing all the way as far south as Miami today. A friend told me it was 34 there this morning.:eek:
