What I like about CC.

Claim: We match our competitor prices.

Reality: They have arrangements with the manufactures so that many of their high end products are specifically for them.

Example: Garmin GPS Model XYZ

Circuit City calls it Model XYZ-5

That dash 5 made all the difference in the world because now it's NOT the same product sir, even though they are identical well they are two different products, AND that Sir is how we get out of matching the next guy.

I feel bad for the people who lost their jobs but I'm not staying up awake at night knowing that they are out.

Well, based on all trouble I had here with the local store and the way they did things......good riddance. And as for the local people out of work here, they did nothing to straighten out the problems. Maybe they will learn a lesson from it.

same thing here , new store not to far from the house , never opend , city bought up a bunch of land put other businesses out of business for this mall area and now it stands empty

and u have 'clueless' people lining up outside the stores trying to score a 'deal'. Don't these people know the deals are all BS? Liquidators are there to make money...jacking up prices and then giving fake discounts :tinfoil:

got some giftcards from CC one christmas.. went to use them a few months later and was told they had expired.... never went back. good riddence!

Walmart, Sams, Costco and many of the BIG boys are the same way - Even if you find the EXACT same brand its likely that the Walmart brand is cheaper because its not made as well or its not up to the standard of the others. They look the same but they are not. Cheaper components, accessories not included, cheaper packaging etc
