dreamer - the nose would be the least of the concerns. My friend owns the Corvette rental store in Tempe, Az. He rents out other cars also, 'Stangs, Boxsters, Hummer II, Viper, and has had several Prowlers over the years in his fleet. One yellow Prowler comes to mind - seven chrome wheels replaced over it's stay,,,,,one A/C unit replaced, one new engine,,,,one tranny,,,,,holes in the top,,,,,and the final kicker = 3 bullet holes coming through the right door and one exit hole through the driver's door///// two bullets stopped in the seats. The gun fire happened in Tucson at midnite,,,at a red light. Gang of hoods apparently didn't like the yellow cat. That was the fifth Prowler he had in his fleet,,,,,and the last! Too much down time with repairs! I always say those rentals are RATS,,,,,not cats! On the other side,,,,,the Vipers also have had their bad experiences, but that is because those renting them don't know how to drive them >>> too much for the ordinary driver to handle. One Viper came back totalled. Very little bad experiences with the Corvette rentals - keeps about a dozen or more on hand - seldom any damage.

I would love to rent a viper, I've only been a passenger in one once....it was a thrill.
