“Birds of a feather,” multi-colored Plymouth and Chrysler Prowler roadsters were gathered at Moore Park Saturday while their owners took an Upper Klamath Lake boat ride on the Klamath Belle.

Northwest Prowler owners have gathered for a weekend outing in the Klamath area through today.

Prowlers started as a single experimental design made by Chrysler Motors for the 1996 international car shows, but drew enough viewer interest to eventually be made by the company on a limited basis. A little over 11,000 were produced for world wide distribution between 1997 and 2002, the last year of production wearing the Chrysler badge.

A dozen of the rarely seen “retro roadsters” with their owners from Canada, Washington and Oregon, have been touring local sites of interest.
