2008 PT Projects Logistics and Status Updates

Hi All!

Photo opportunity days are running out for most folks...so time to get snapping! We can also work with previously taken pics :tu:

Here's the proposed date-lines:



Picture Submission Dateline: November 3rd 2008
Legal release Dateline:October 17th 2008


A legal release will be emailed to you this week.

We have already received several pictures and have begun photo editing work on them:


The earlier we get them, the more time we can enhance the pics.
We can also help provide feedback (if you need on) on photo taking tips (e.g., angle, shadows)


Project prototypes are inbound and as soon as we verify with quality, the shortlist of projects will be announced (hopefully by this weekend!)!!!

Hello Everyone!

A quick update on the PT Projects. We have short-listed the projects we plan to complete in the near-term based on the prototyping results:

1. ProwlTalk Private Reserve Cabernet


We have worked with a wine-maker to create an exclusive custom made to order barrel of Sonoma grapes (estimated yield of 30 bottles)
2 custom designed labels to choose from (designed by MM84 :tu:)
ETA: Oct 31st, 2008

2. ProwlTalk 'Goes-Green' Recycling Tote Bag


Doing our part for the environment and preventing waste
A bag made from 100% recycled cotton that you can use for everyday (e.g., grocery, catch-all carrier, etc)
Custom designed labels by Jay (Yeller Cat) :tu:
ETA: Nov 7th, 2008
3. ProwlTalk 24x36 Collage Poster


Large-sized collage poster on high quality Kodak paper
Featuring ALL contributor photos
Poster you can proudly showcase it in the garage, living room, office etc!
ETA: Dec 5th, 2008

4. ProwlTalk 2009 Calendar


12 month calendar with a new design approach from previous calendars
ETA: Nov 30th, 2008


As mentioned previously, we hope to have something for everyone :beer:

Lastly, the ETAs are geared aggressively for folks who want to get some Prowler gifts out for the holiday season. As such, we had to drop a couple of cool projects to ensure we hit the above dates.

Russell, she cant take them in an email.. you have to "attach" them as a File and then include the File in the email. I had to do that in order for her to receive my pics. One at a time as an "attachment".. Sent her a number of emails with each individual pic "attached".

that's right! AOL and Hotmail does quirky stuff that automatically resizes picture attachments.

for hotmail users, you MUST attach it as a FILE and not as a PHOTO as per the screenshot below:
